Waaaaah today has been an extremely fruitful trip!!! Seriously!!!
Morning wake up drama, then me and mama made pasta again, then I went out at 1pm.. Go PS meet Hianez, then we walk walk outside, around town..
We walked past This Fashion and spent an hour in there.. Wanted to buy a $27 skirt which will be $13.50 after 50% discount but couldn't decide on a nice top to go with it so didn't buy :( Hianez got a great deal, $10 for a black jacket with green strips..
Then walk around somemore.. Took pictures nearby, in the Hotel Rendevous, my favourite dome structure.. Then walk on the stretch of road and dunno why we ended up at the Singapore National Museum.. Took pictures outside, and ventured inside, only to see a HUMONGOUS statue of a naked man, with his skin as maroon fabric with golden patterns.. I think the name of the exhibit is Surrounding David?
Walk around, and took photos of the structure of the building after seeking permission from the counter staff.. We ventured upstairs and took great fascination to a spiral staircase, and a windowsill which we posed and took emo shots.. Damn fun okay. I think the little primary school kids on excursion and the security guard who was there the whole time watching us must have thought we escaped from the loony bin!!
I was also a tad obsessed with the railings.. Damn nice lah.. Rested awhile there, I think we must have spent more than an hour at the museum, all for free and without looking at any boring exhibits, with the free air-conditioning! We also took many pictures at the bar outside the museum.. Hahaha..
Our energy was drained so we stopped by a cafe at SMU and I had a curry puff and Hianez had a pao.. Then we continued our journey to Suntec without much mood to take anymore photos, until we stumbled upon a mini forest pavement.. I went crazy taking flower macro shots, hopefully they turned out nice!!
And then went to Suntec, and Marina Square, bought Water Babies (those round pearly thingies which grow when you put them in water) -- 4 packs for $3, share with Hianez.. And we ate Long John Silver.. Poor counter guy so busy, long queues nonstop.. Then we went to Carrefour, piano awhile and looked for candies.. Took the shuttle bus to City Hall MRT, then went home around 10+..
Oh yes, Hianez help me to buy a 1GB USB thumbdrive for $12.90 at her school.. YAY now we get to exchange stuff through this, much easier!! =) Oh I bought $1 earrings at Carrefour also.. Tried on a blue mermaid skirt, quite cute.. Someone tell me why I'm so obsessed with skirts today?!?!
Can't wait to see the hundreds of pictures we took today.. Hopefully not disappointing! Pictures another time!!
